On 25th May 2018 new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came into force which replaced the Data protection Act 1998. These new regulations require us to look at the personal data we hold and let our customers know what information we are holding, why we are keeping their data and what we intend to do with it.

We are committed to respecting the privacy of our customers and protecting your personal data. This policy outlines how we aim to achieve this. By providing us with your personal data you agree that we can use your data in accordance with this policy.

Who are we?

We are an independent software development and I.T hardware provider. Our registered offices are at 21 Hopwood Bank, Leeds, LS18 5AW.

How we collect Information from you

We collect information from you when you make an enquiry whether by telephone, face to face or email..

What type of data is collected

All the data that is collected is necessary in order to create a contract with you, our clients, in order to complete a purchase. Customer details on invoices will be processed on the lawful basis of contract.

Information will include but is not restricted to Title, Name, email address, address and tel nos.

We will never contact you to market our products and services following your purchase. The only time we would contact you following your purchase is if it came to light we had information regarding your products or services that you purchased from us.

Who has access to your data

We never sell customers information to third parties. We do however work closely with certain companies who help us deliver services that our customers request. Companies such as Google, Dropbox, Carbonite, Microsoft, Amazon and Dell. We are confident these named parties are looking after your data to GDPR standards.

Information is also shared with our accountants and HMRC as a legal requirement.

There maybe circumstances where we have an obligation to share customer data such as a legal obligation, for instance with the police or courts. We may need to seek legal advice in which case data would be shared in confidence with legal advisors.

We will share this data where it is legally required, or necessary (and it complies with data protection law). We will do so once we have assurances regarding their own data protection procedures and protocols and that it is used only for the specific purpose intended.

Data security is very important to us. We have taken measures to ensure your data is safe. All data is stored electronically, no hard copies are produced or stored. Electronic data is all password protected and only staff who need to access customer data are able to do so.

Data Retention Period

We will retain your information for a period of 7 years if you enter into a contract with us by purchasing our products or services.

Your choices
